Old Eastbrook

Helaas, deze module bestaat niet meer. Het was mijn eerste Ntrak module. Echter, er wordt aan drie New Eastbrook Ntrak light modules gewerkt waarbij een aantal aspecten van de oude module terugkeren. Het frame van de oude module keert in de toekomst overigens terug in Wyoming van Peter Sodenkamp	This module does no longer exist. It was my first Ntrak module. But, I'm working on a new set of Eastbrook modules in which some aspects of the old one will return. By the way, the frame of the old module will return as part of the Wyoming Ntrak modules of Peter Sodenkamp in future.

Waarom New York Central? Ik ben in Zweden geboren, woon in Nederland, ben drie jaar voordat de NYC met de PRR fuseerde geboren, ben nooit in New York en de Verenigde Staten geweest en ben een groot fan van de NYC......waarom?: het was één van de belangrijkste spoorwegmaatschappijen in de VS en speelde een belangrijke rol in de spoorwegen in de VS het interessante rollend materieel (ze kochten bijna alles wat op de markt kwam ze hebben een aantal interessante buren zoals PRR, B&O etc. de "Lightning Stripes" ("bliksem strepen" de bebouwing en landschappen	Why New York Central I'm born in Sweden, living in the Netherlands, born three years before the NYC merged with the PRR, never been to New York and the United States and I'm a big fan of the NYC....Why?: it was one of the major RR companies in the US which had a very important part in US railroading `the interesting rolling stock (I think they almost bought everything)` `some interesting neighbor RR's like PRR, B&O etc.` `the Lightning Stripes` `the scenery and landscapes`

De NYC in model De eerste modules die gebouwd gaan worden vormen de entree van de spoorlijn in een stad aan de Oostkust. Komende vanuit Mifflin worden een aantal industriële gebouwen en Barry's Freighthouse gepasseerd waarbij het emplacement zich uitbreidt tot een aantal sporen. Als onderdeel wordt ook het Cuyahoga (Cleveland) viaduct gepaseerd. Het tijdperk waarin de modules zich bevinden loopt van 1955 tot 1965.	Modelling the NYC The first modules to be built represent the entrance of the mainline into an east coast city. Coming form the direction of Mifflin some industrial buildings and Barry's Freighthouse are beside the track and the amount of tracks extend. In the same setting the Cuyahoga (Cleveland Union Terminal) Bridge) will be crossed. The era I want to reflect with the modules is 1955 to 1965.

Het sporenplan bestaat uit een rechte Ntrak module van 4 feet (122 cm). Voor het ontwerpen van het sporenplan gebruik ik Xtrkcad, een prima spoortekenprogramma. Bij het sporenplan wordt uitgegaan van Peco code 55 slanke wissels voor de twee hoofdsporen en van Peco code 55 medium wissels voor de overige sporen. De wissels voor de industriële sporen zijn Peco code 55 small.	The track plan consists of a 4 feet straight Ntrak module. For designing the track plans I use Xtrkcad, a handy track planning program. For the mainline Peco code 55 large turnouts will be used. For the other tracks Peco code 55 medium turnouts. The turnouts for the industrial tracks are Peco code 55 small.

Aangezien ik de meeste scenery geheel zelf bouw, in plaats van het gebruik van bouwpakketten, zoek ik op het www naar foto’s en eventueel tekeningen van gebouwen en overige scenery voor de modules. Hierbij heb ik mij gericht op stedelijke gebieden wat betreft gebouwen. De twee belangrijkste gebouwen/industriën op de modules zijn Barry's Freighthouse (goederen loods) en Boulderman & Sons Furniture Company (meubelfabriek). De advertentie campagne voor de meubelfabriek is wel al gemaakt!	Because I scratch built most of the buildings and scenery instead of using standard kits, I surf the www for pictures and plans of buildings and scenery. My focus is on urban surroundings for buildings.The two most important buildings/industries on the modules are Barry's Freighthouse and Boulderman & Sons Furniture Company.The advertising campaign for Boulderman & Sons Furniture Manufacturing has been made allready.
